Mother's Day #2 and #14

As it is Mother's Day today, I asked Jilly what she would like to do with her babies [Kieran is LOVING that he wil also be his mum's special liddle guy!], and Jilly decided that she'd like a drive out to Fountain's Abbey. The weather stayed lovely all day, and we all enjoyed the walk, particularly Evelyn who was desperate to find 'Duffy' [the Gruffalo] in the deep dark woods around the lakes in the grounds.
As another part of our Mother's Day celebrations, we visited Deb and Kev in Macclesfield yesterday. As ever, we had a lovely day but it was especially lovely as Debbie invited us to the Astra-Zeneca Farm open day, where we had the chance to walk around the farm looking at all the beautiful lambies being born. Evie loved it...and, although he would be embarrassed to admit it, I think Kieran enjoyed it too.
More teeth - Right Lower Second Molar - Tooth #16

As if the poor liddle beaudee hadn't had enought trouble with her last tooth, tooth number 16 has now appeared...another of those 'orrible molars. Evie seems to be comparatively used to the discomfort now, as she doesn't seem to be nearly as uncomfortable with this one as with the last!
Something Evelyn is uncomfortable with though, is Kieran! Her newest, and funniest for some time] expression is, "Stobbit!" [Stop it!], which she seems to have been demanding all 'Mother's Day' weekend...most usually when Kieran was winding her up.
Look who's [not] talking...

Ever since that bath-time, Evelyn has been trying to make people stop speaking by Zipping their mouths. This has proved very amusing, but a little confusing for some recent visitors, as they have absolutely no idea what Evelyn is trying to do.
Furthermore, Evelyn has developed a very amusing habit of offering me a bite of whatever it is she's eating, or a slurp of whatever it is she's drinking [generous precious liddle beaudee, that she is!] and then, at the very last second, withdrawing the offer/food/drink and exclaiming, with some glee, "TEASE!"...eh! She's learned to tease her dad with offers of food! We've created a monster!
And...last night, Evelyn picked up her Postman Pat wellingtons, sat down in the centre of the living room floor and [probably more through luck than management] managed to place the boots on the correct feet. Evelyn pulled the boots on as far as they would go, before standing and pushing her feet down into the wellies. She did this in a flash,. and as though she'd done it every day since she was born...BEAUDEE!
Ready...steady....

Evelyn has learned a new skill; a new skill which enables her to help he daddy drive her to Nana-Gee and Poppy's in the morning.
Whenever we approach traffic lights that are at green, Evelyn will remind me that it's OK to, "Doooooooooeeeeeee", at the top of her tiny voice. Of course, she means "Go!".
