And...things are [though probably temporarily!] looking fairly rosy on the Football front too. For a bloke who knows very little about the game, I don't think my Fantasy League stats are looking too shabby and, as for Huddersfield Town AFC...come on you Terrieeerrrs!
Pah! Bloody fair weather fans...I dunno!
Alright, alright! The lead is one-point at the top of each table, but a lead is a lead, am I wrong?
Before I go to week 5 tomorrow, I thought I should finally get around to showing some of the product of last week's lesson. I'm especially pleased with the 'old ladies' photo! To get the most dramatic effect, I recommend that the viewer looks at the slideshow of all the images.
In Jim's absence [the Wassocks are on holiday...er...again!] Jo and I attended the Photoshop course without Jim this week, and we learned MASSES!
For anyone saddoes that are interested, here is a link to my Mr. Vegetableheadshop picture that I created today, using Photoshop tools. The image before it is the result of last weeks lesson, and the following image is Mr. Vegetableheadshop himself. I intend to add pictures of all the images I create throughout the course and, hopefully, readers will witness an improvement as Jim, Jo and I progress through the course.
Jim, Jo and I are currently attending a beginners' Photoshop course at the local college. It's week 2 of the 10 week course and, on Wednesday night, we did LAYERS. I thought Jim and Jo might be interested that I'd finally managed to import my signature into a new layer...or perhaps not! I think it looks rather nice!
Not that anybody seems to be reading my Gingatopian Chronicles any more, I have been forced to impose mandatory registration on Typekey before a reader can post a comment on Gingatopia. Registration on Typekey is free, and only asks that the reader supply an e-mail address to which Typekey can send an account confirmation code.
Unfortunately, this action has become necessary as up to 30 comments a day are currently being posted to Gingatopia, and ave been posted for the last three months, leaving links to URLs for web-sites relating to all manner of bizarre things, including erection issues [or lack thereof], bestiality, gay [and lesbian] porn and second-hand car sales...I kid you not!
So, if you can't be bothered registering with Typekey...er...good riddance to ya...er...if you're reading this, that is!
For the readers amusement, I've finally managed to scan and upload a series of old black and white photographs that my mum gave to me eons ago for the Gingatopia site. The photograph to the left is a favourite of mine, and I think it's one that especially looks like Evelyn...the poor baby!
Now that I've finally managed to find the time to scan and upload them, I can let my mum have them back.
It does seem a little strange adding old photographs of my father, but I thought that they may give people that know me a few clues as to why I am the devastatingly handsome young man...er...ahem! that they all know and love...er...ahem!
I'll post as many embarrassing old pictures of Jilly as I can, as soon as I can get my hands on them and scan them to the PC.
This is an example of the quality of image taken by the absolutely tiny mini-camera that Jilly bought me for Christmas. It is literally 5cm wide, 3cm high and 1 cm deep. Of course, then, the images aren't great - particularly with this subject matter - but having this mini camera makes me feel a little like James Bond.
Sad, I know, but true!

As this seems to work, it's now time [if I can find the time!], to create two or three more snapGalleries and upload them to my ntlworld space...but don't hold your breath!
I'm sure everyone will be staggered to hear that the population of Gingatopia has finally dragged itself into the twentieth century and had broadband installed...HUZZAH! This means I am now able to update the site at more than ten times the previous speed; and that means more pictures of my beaudeeful Evie for you dial-up pence...oh yes!
