Not having been to the gym for over a month, having been on holiday and then away for our anniversary break; and having eaten just about whatever I have wanted for the last six weeks, I returned to the gym tonight to discover that my weight has gone up to 130.4Kg or 20st 7lb. That's an increase of 7Kg (1st 2lb) since June, and 9.8Kg (1st 8lb) since the beginning of February.
I AM UNHAPPY!
I joined the local gym today. It's just 4 minutes walk down the road from home so I ought to have no excuses for missing out. Perhaps naively, I plan to go to the gym at least three times each week. We'll see.
On joining the gym, today, I weighed 133.5Kg or 21st 0lb. Bloody Hell!
I plan to keep a spreadsheet of my progress (or otherwise), entitled My Weight Spreader, a link to which will be in the 'sidebar' of this page. As Jim (Wassock) once told me, 'anything measured improves'; I can only hope so!
It's official, since I started to take my eye off the dieting ball (so to speak), I've managed to gain 3Kg (or 6½ pounds). I now weigh 20st 7lb or 130.3Kg. I am less than pleased.
Quite how it's happened, I don't know, but - according to the weighing scales in Boots, I have lost 2.8Kg or a little over 6lb in the last week. HUZZAH!
So, that's 127.6Kg or 20st 1lb.
Aaaarrgggghhh! indeed! After a three-day Microsoft course in Leeds (complete with FREE buffet lunch), a weekend curry, and several beers last night, I must hold up my hand and (with more than a little shame), admit that I have put on another 1.9Kgs or 4lbs. I am unhappy.
And...look at Chubbies...the chart. I am doubly unhappy...
Even though Jilly and I are convinced I've put on weight again (my belly and moobs both seem to be making a resurgence), the Boots weighing scales still register my weight as 128.5Kg or 20st 3lb.
It's time I really concentrated on losing more weight. Evidently, Jobley and I have both settled on this temporary plateau...COME ON JOBLEY!
After successfully returning to watching what I am eating, I have managed to lose a few pounds again, this week, and have nearly returned to my pre-holiday weight...HUZZAH!

So, I weighed myself after returning from our wonderful holiday in Cornwall, to discover that I have put on 1.2Kg (which the Boots machine wants to round up to 3lbs) meaning that my weight is now 128.8Kg or 20St 4lbs; not too bad considering the number of excellent cornish pasties I have consumed over throughout the week...
So, I couldn't help myself! Ever since the diminishing navel incident, I've been desperate to weigh myself, yet again, to discover whether or not I have lost any weight.
The weighing scales at Boots report that I now weigh in at a massive, though constantly diminishing, 127.6Kg or 20st 1lb.
Incidentally, last night saw the fourth night on the trot that I completed a Davina session!
AND! If you look at my spreader, you'll see that I have lost almost 10Kg since I began this attempt to get back into shape. I am now a quarter of the way to accomplishing my target weight loss of 40Kg. EXCELLENT!
